Shambhala Day 2017 — Year of the Firebird (Berkeley & SF)
Two different dates, and two locations: San Francisco Shambhala Center and Berkeley Shambhala Center
Shambhala Day is a time for us to express the wealth and richness of our spiritual and cultural heritage through feasting, conviviality, elegance and pomp.
As is customary, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche addresses the worldwide Shambhala community through an online hook-up, which includes centers and groups from six continents and over thirty countries around the world.
This is also the time when members of the San Francisco Shambhala community are encouraged to make a financial donation order to help support the activities of our center and the worldwide mandala.
Children are welcome to attend, and parents will be responsible for caring for their own children.
Monday, February 27th at the Berkeley Shambhala Center. Details can be found here.
Sunday, March 5th at San Francisco Shambhala Center
10 AM to 12 PM Open House
12 to 2 PM Potluck lunch with a replay of the Sakyong's address.
There is no cost to attend. Donations are always appreciated.
