Volunteer

Volunteering at the San Francisco Shambhala Center is an expression of generosity and commitment to helping others along the path of meditation. Our center is  reliant on volunteers to sustain our administration, practice container, and educational offerings.

Volunteering can be done in the following ways:

1. Staff a weekend program: coordinate, staff or provide audio/visual support.

2. Help with one of our weekly meditation programs or open houses: prepare tea and snacks, greet, gatekeep or timekeep.

3. Keep the center clean: join our cleaning Rota crew.

4. Take on an administrative responsibility at the center: Current open positions include administrative assistance, database maintenance, recordings, bookstore management, and communications assistant.
