Shambhala Community
Dharma Night is a great opportunity to connect with mindful community in a relaxed, comfortable environment. It is also a great place to explore mindfulness and the Shambhala Buddhist teachings for the first time. Dharma Night features meditation practice, meditation instruction, tea and light snacks.

Join us for this wonderful opportunity to practice with others in a warm, supportive environment. And bring your friends!

Evening Schedule
6:15 Doors open
6:30-7:30 Sitting meditation practice in Meditation Hall
Meditation Instruction at 6:30 pm
7:30 Shared readings, discussion, contemplation, tea and light snacks

Wednesday Dharma Night Readings and Discussion
Shambhala community members facilitate lively group readings and discussion around mindfulness and compassion as well as exploring fundamental topics including meditation, lojong, tonglen, and Enlightened Society.

Feel free to jump into the flow of the discussions and readings on any Wednesday night. There are no prerequisites and each week the discussion allows newcomers and long-time practitioners an opportunity to explore mindfulness in community.

The San Francisco Shambhala Center also offers a cycle of weekend retreats and classes in the foundation curriculum of Shambhala, a path of mediation and insight that is available to everyone.
