A day-long leadership training in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. This workshop is part of a series that provides skills and trainings in support of the path of contemplative leadership.

How we lead our lives in households and in families, at work and at play, publicly and privately, affects the health of an entire society. Join with leaders in Shambhala to explore our mutual commitment to creating a more sane society through principles of universal leadership.

The Series

Sacred World, Thread of Gold
As the world becomes at once more global and intimate, what skills and qualities will leaders need to be effective and transform outdated models of organization that no longer work well?

The Shambhala approach to leadership involves becoming intimate with ourselves and our world and meeting others with an anchored inner sense of personal strength and authentic kindness that links leadership with service. Our sessions will include topics such as sacred world and true perception, exploring our senses, creating a wakeful environment, hosting, and creating and enjoying a celebratory feast together.

Everyone is qualified to take leadership training, and it is not necessary to take these trainings in sequence.

This program is free to Shambhala Interns and Teachers.
Membership discounts apply. For financial aid or work-study please contact Larissa,, at least a week in advance. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
