Please join the Northern California Shambhala regional leadership for this year’s Shambhala Ball at Sharchen Dzong. This will be an uplifted affair for the whole region including a ceremony for our regional Shastris and Acharyas, live music, dancing and good food.

Come dressed in your most uplifted attire and be prepared for an amazing night! The Shambhala Ball is a tradition started by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche as a way to celebrate the New Year together with style, dignity, and cheer. The evening will open with a ceremony to appreciate our regional senior teachers, the Shastris and Acharyas. We will then be serenaded by a string quartet, have waltz lessons, and get to practice what we have learned with more dancing.

7:00 Appreciation of our Regional Shastris and Acharyas
8:00 Live music and hors d’oevres
8:45 Waltz lesson for beginners and experienced dancers
     9:15 Waltzing

Program Pricing
In order to make our programs accessible to everyone, we have a pay what you can afford policy. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please decide what works for you and offer whatever you can.

For those who can offer more than the program price, your generosity in offering to be a program patron helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price.

For those who cannot afford the full price, please pay what you can at the door.
